“Long-term” is defined as serving more than 28 days. Long-term volunteers are the backbone of our service to the children of APUFRAM.
In addition to the benefits short-term volunteers enjoy, you will:
– Become integrated into the daily staff activities.
– Coordinate efforts of short-term volunteers.
– Be able to utilize your talents and abilities and assist in other ways, for example, teaching a class or two in the schools.
If this is your interest, we will work with you and attempt to match your goals with ours.
Requirements for a stay at our Visitor Center are different for long-term and short-term volunteers, so please refer to the APUFRAM Handbook and Visitor Center Guidebook for more information.
